Avery' s apology

Avery was throwing a serious tantrum. She was exhausted and when she is beyond tired, she is so unreasonable. We were at my mom's and she didn't want to leave. I was seriously throwing her in the car and she would jump out...my mom's neighbors were even laughing. Finally, I had to put her in through the back door of the car. It was hysterical. My mom tells me all the time that I acted the exact same way. Awesome. That next morning I found this on my nightstand....

I asked her what it said ..."I am sorry. I love you."

I guess she couldn't remember how to spell am. Sure love that sweet girl, tantrum and all!

Two seconds later...she was out!

I think we have listened to the Frozen soundtrack a thousand times...we have the entire cd memorized.."Let it Go" came on and Rylee yells "MY FAVORITE PART!" 1/29/14

Avery asked Koy (her cute friend) "pretend my boyfriend comes over..." What ?!! I'm in trouble! 2/19/14

I told Rylee she needed to get in the bath before she ate her candy. She didn't get in and I told her I shouldn't let her eat the candy because she didn't get in...her reply..."Yes I did!..Last year!" 3/9/14

Rylee is screaming "Let me in!" at the front door...after she closed the front door herself! These girls are making me crazy! Avery threw a tantrum on the way back from the bus because I made her carry her coat and backpack...I was already carrying her boots. ...So, I bring Rylee in and lock the door so she can't get out...she then goes to the garage...closes the door and begins yelling and screaming "LET ME IN!!!" ...I can't win! 3/19/14

Rylee was having a play date and was showing her friends where the garbage was...she said "come on boys"...I guess I didn't realize she knew the difference between boys and girls! 3/21/14

Rylee was "reading" me a book and says "get off my foot dumb boy"!!! There was something on the foot of the picture!! It was funny! 3/25/14

I was telling Rylee we needed to do her messy hair...as she brushes it out of her face she says "it's all clean!" 3/27/14

Rylee was talking to Avery in the bathroom and I could over hear their conversation...Rylee says to Avery "LOOK AT MY BUM!" "What?" "There's something in it" "like what?" "I don't know"

Rylee yells from sitting on the potty "HEY GUYS! It's my birthday!" Jake's parents, as well as Josh were all there. 4/4/14

I took Rylee and Hayden to Cafe Rio for dinner. I told Rylee "thanks for being my cute date!" She told me she wasn't a date and I kept telling her she WAS my cute date...She explained "I'm Rylee though"!! Yes, Rylee, yes you are!! 4/26/14

Spring Soccer

And so it begins....Avery loves soccer and pretty much succeeds at anything she does! She is a fast little runner! It was so fun to watch them this year. It's amazing what one year does. They actually understood the concept this time! Avery scored two goals and had many more attempts! She rocked!!

 Rylee however,....does not like to play when it's poring and freezing cold!! She was a good sport and sat through Avery's game. Her game was next and she was too cold and miserable to play her game...

Funny..they both wear the same color orange and they are both number 4! 

Hadley had a musical performance we went to tonight and Avery and her hung out and watched a movie. They are pretty cute together!

Spring Break and the Zoo

My kids love Jaymie, well, they pretty much love all their aunts, but Rylee loves Jaymie. The other day she was telling me something to the effect of being Jaymie's sweetheart. I needed to get out and get some sun, so Jaymie and I took the kids to the zoo....Along with a TON of other people! It was a beautiful day to spend in the sun!

Ha ha!! I didn't get a picture of Haylee on the carousel but I should have. She wanted to ride a horse "really" bad and was freaking out I put her on another animal. Luckily behind me there happened to be an animal that "looked" like a horse and it sufficed for the time being. She is one stubborn little girl...right up there with Rylee!!

Random things while off track

Teaching them the joy of riding down the stairs on a blanket....we would have used sleeping bags, but they were packed! I tried it a couple times and it was hysterical! I'm sure to watch was even more...it was however, a little painful! ...I'm getting old :)

Jake had to go back to New York for work again and brought the kids and I some M&M's with our names on them! So fun!

Rylee started a little play group with our neighbors...these kids are seriously the cutest things ever!!

We headed to Chick-Fil-A so we could all stop fighting for an hour!

My sisters and I did a fundraiser yardsale for my cousin who was diagnosed with cancer. I'm amazed at the generosity of strangers. It wasn't our stuff and it wasn't our money, so it was actually really fun! There are good people in this world. Definitely a breath of fresh air!

My dad was called as bishop and we all went over to my mom's for lunch and then over to his meeting for him to be called and set apart. We are very excited for him. He will do a great job!
