Hot summer nights!

back stair: Jackson, Rylee, Rio
middle stair: Austin, Logan, Avery
front stair: Blake & Hayden

This June has been so HOT!! I think it's the hottest June we have had on record. The girls are constantly asking if they can play in the water. Today, we decided to invite the Morris's over and have pizza and let the kids swim! We love having such great neighbors!

Camping at Payson Lakes

Jake is seriously the best dad ever. He has been wanting to go camping, and being pregnant, I have been so exhausted, the thought of camping sounds absolutely miserable. But...you do what you do for your kids, right?! So we packed up the car (well, mostly Jake packed up the car) and we headed to Payson Lakes. I was a little worried if we would get a spot or not, but it was a Thursday and it wasn't a holiday. We didn't have a reserved spot, but drove down to see what we could find. We were lucky enough, the campground wasn't full. We pitched the tent, roasted hot dogs and starbursts and sat around the fire. Rylee, being the little diva that she is, I was a little hesitant about how she would be going to the bathroom in the out houses. Luckily, it wasn't too stinky and she did just fine. The girls were so excited to sleep in the tent! Camping with a toddler is always a treat. She didn't want to go to bed and didn't fall asleep until close to 11 pm. Needless to say, she was tired! That morning we cooked breakfast and packed up the car. Then headed down to the lake. Honestly, one night is way too short!

The two oldest were afraid of getting in the water...this one...not so much!

After Jake got in with them, they had a great time!

Let the summer begin! Blackridge Reservoir

Rylee, Chase and Mikaylee Becker, Haylee Maines, Hadley Becker, Avery and McCoy Maines

We love going up to Blackridge Reservoir. It is always crowded, but today wasn't too bad! We ended up staying here all day, almost 6 hours!
Hayden has no fear of water! Which is good and bad!! I look up, only to see her trucking her way out into the water and not really stopping!!

This girl loves the water! She sat and put sand in her basket for quite a while!

I told all four girls to look up and smile, Hayden immediately stands up in front of everyone and says "cheese"!! Funny girl!
