First Day of 2nd Grade

First day of school for this beauty! I can't believe she is in 2nd grade already! I think she was a little nervous going, but hopefully she will like it like she did last year. She is still in the German immersion program and I think she really enjoys it! ...even though she won't admit it!!

Jake took her to school and he asked if she wanted him to go in with her to find her classroom, since we were Island Park when it was back to school night. She promptly told him no, that she could find her classroom herself....and she did!

We went down the river while up in Island Park. This HUGE beast comes out of the brush. Beckee was slightly ahead of Hayden and I, in a kayak and showed us this guy. We were literally maybe 20 yards from him. I don't even know if we were that far. He was massive and beautiful! Hayden and I had just climbed in the kayak and I did not feel experienced enough to protect my baby! I felt very vulnerable to say the least. I knew he was strong enough that if he felt threatened, he could have done some major damage! He finally crossed and Hayden says "Tank you moose!!" like it was no big deal!! Ha ha!! I died!

After the Olsen side left, Bruce and Jan came up and we went to Big Springs and Yellowstone.
