A couple of weeks ago Avery was sitting in her exersaucer and she sneezed, being that it is winter, she of course had a runny nose and I thought for sure boogies would come flying. Well, nothing came out of her nose thank heavens, but I got all excited and asked her where her boogies went. She thought that was the funniest thing she had ever heard. She laughed for over 15 minutes. I was dying. I wanted the video camera so bad and as soon as I went and go the camera she stopped. Of course. She does this all the time now with the camera, she will be all cute and as soon as I get it she stops completely and looks at me like I'm dumb!! I guess I get what I deserve! I'm almost positive I was the same way!!
Anyway, today I was playing patta-cake with her and she thought it was hysterical! Of course as soon as I get the camera out, again she stops. I caught the tail end of it and I hope you can hear her giggle. It is sooo cute! The video is shaky because I'm taping her, but hopefully it works. She is so funny!! I love that she is such a fun baby! My mom thinks that I treat her like my doll!! Oh well!! Gotta enjoy her, right?!! It was so funny (everything is so funny!!) but today I was working out and doing abs, for some reason she didn't want me to put her down, so I laid her right by me, anyway that didn't last long because she rolled into me as close as she could get. I would move over to the right a little...I'm not even kidding, she rolled again. It was like we had to be touching! She is such a stinker!

Oh, (these are kind of random thoughts, sorry) she also has this thing where she has to cover her head. I have no idea why she does this. It is so cute. I will go in to check on her while she is sleeping and she has her hands up by her head with the blanket in hand. Well, today I left the room and came back and all I could see were her legs and feet. She had totally wrapped her head in the blanket and was just laying. I couldn't help but laugh. She thinks she is so hysterical because then she started laughing! Today was a good day!
Avery for the last month has also slept through the night, which has been such a blessing, but for the last week it has been horrible! She wakes up like every two hours and it's getting a little old! Aren't we past this stage in life?! I feel like we are going backward! I don't know if she is going through a growth spurt or what but kid...GO TO SLEEP!!! I'M TIRED!! Do you let a 5 month old cry themselves to sleep? I haven't let her, but I am curious when I should be letting her get herself back to sleep! Avery is also rolling all over the place. She even tries to push herself up on her knees. I know it won't be too long before she starts to crawl. Cute girl.

Have I got all the answers for you! (This might be long.) We didn't know Brayden had really bad reflux until he was 8 months old. So from 4-8 months I nursed him every 2 hours all night long. Meanwhile, I read 6 different books and tried all 6 methods to break his bad "habit" of not sleeping through the night. Nothing worked so my pediatrician sent us to a sleep specialist who wanted to rule out reflux so she gave us some medicine. On night four of the medicine Brayden slept 10 hours straight and has been great ever since. Apparently it was not a behavioral problem. N-e way, you are probably wondering why I shared this with you. Well, I admit that on any other issue I am not the one to ask advice from. But when it comes to sleep I have been able to help a lot of people. So if you have any questions or want my input on the different books I read, let me know! I'd be happy to help. P.S. Avery is a doll! She is so beautiful and so happy!
She is SOOO cute!! I want to squeeze her!!
She is so dang cute! I love that you just laugh and laugh with her!Give her a kiss for me.

Avery is getting to be so big! She is as cute as ever!
I can't believe how big Avery is getting! Enjoy every minute with her, which you obviously are, but continue to enjoy the baby times, they grow up way too fast!

Avery is so stinking cute. I just love her. It is so hard to let babies cry, but sometimes you just have to. I always let me kids cry for no more then 15 minutes straight and then I would go comfort them and put them back in their bed. No sleep is never fun, and gets old FAST. We need to hang out soon. INCLUDING YOU!! Even though we love Jake and Avery.
Wow, what a cutie. I cannot believe she is rolling and trying to crawl! You are the cutest mom Annalee!
