Ice Skating/Santa/Downtown Lights

Jake is a pretty cute dad and has wanted to make sure that our little family creates traditions. He planned a night out on the town with the girls and it was so fun! Avery, Rylee and I headed downtown to pick up Jake from work. We bundled up and walked over to the Galavan Center to ice skate. We originally weren't going to let Rylee skate, but they had skates her size...so what the heck! We threw them on and she didn't want to get off the rink! It was so fun to watch my little munchkins try something they had never done before. Rylee loved it because all she had to do was stand there and we held her up. Avery on the other hand, did really well. We only stayed for about 30 min. (Jake and I were done :))

We had things to do, Santa to see, so we left and headed over to City Creek. Instead of waiting in line, you can go ahead of time and put your name down and then you would just come back at your given time to see Santa. It was the best invention ever! We put our name down and went to have dinner at Kneaders. Let's just say, it felt like the entire city of Salt Lake was at City Creek! It was crazy! We had time to kill after dinner, so we headed to see the lights at Temple Square. The girls were getting a little exhausted at this point, so it was a quick walk through! We came, we saw the lights, and we left! Avery loved Santa and Rylee hated it!
