We went to Zoo Light this year and had Avery's cute friend, Chloe tag along with us. There were a BAZILLION people there of course, but it was fun to be together as a family. We were almost done and had hiked up to see the tigers. Apparently, Avery bit Jake's bum...(yes, my children are weird!) and no, I have no idea why she did it! But her tooth fell out!! She came running up to me telling me frantically that she had lost her tooth. I was ecstatic, but that wasn't what she meant. She was freaking out because she had LOST her tooth! It had fallen out and she couldn't find it. Okay....there are a bazillion people there, it was dark, and of course the sidewalk was covered in salt to prevent ice. I thought to myself..."like heck we are going to find this tooth!" But, Jake being the good dad that he is, turned the flashlight on on his phone and began the search. People were asking if they could help and what he was looking for. He was a little embarrassed of the item he was looking for but honestly, only about five minutes later he found it!! THANK HEAVENS!! Avery was so excited and so was I! Now the tooth fairy could come!
