USA Soccer

Avery is such a good little soccer player! I don't know that she loves it, but she sure is fun to watch! This year has been fun because they only play four on four and they are old enough to kind of understand how to pass to each other! Avery is on her best friend's team, Carter Anderson, and Carter's dad Jason, is the coach. We decided to do USA Soccer this year and have really liked it. Their team name is USA. Avery and one other girl are the only girls on their team and they are little spit fires! They get in there and play really hard! Their team only lost one game this season and Avery has scored multiple goals so far! She will play on the same team for an entire year and then get a new team. Hopefully she can continue to play with Carter, I think she really likes being on his team!

Church is a three-ring circus most Sundays, this Sunday in particular, Rylee was in and out of the bench and all over the place. Avery asked her if she wanted to go to class (meaning nursery) before Sacrament had ended. Rylee B-lined it to the exit and practically ran to the nursery room! 9/15/12

We were watching America's Got Talent the other night and Avery tells me that she wants to go up on that stage, but that I would need to take her since she didn't know where it was. I asked her if she was going to sing or dance. She, of course, said dance! 7/3/12

We are in the middle of potty training, Avery had had an accident on the downstairs couch and I told her to run up and finish going potty. When I came upstairs, apparently she had to go too bad because the rug was soaked. As she is sitting there with those big blue eyes, she proceeds to tell me "It's otay mom, you tan tlean it up, it's otay." I told her that it's not okay and she argued with me back and forth! It's not a big deal that she had an accident, but I don't WANT to clean it up!! 03/4/11

I'm sitting in the computer room and Avery is eating some cereal. She yells to me that "Fresh Beat" is over and I yell back that "Go, Diego Go" will be on...she yells back "Otay!!" Obviously, she watches too much TV! 1/17/11

We were driving up to my mom's in the far left lane, driving through the river bottoms where it kind of curves, it was dark so she could see the on coming traffic, when I hear "cars are coming mom, beep!" Apparently, she thought we were going to hit the other cars!! 01/07/11

Avery went to nursery, and she has been having a hard time liking it, but the last two weeks she has actually gone without crying. Apparently, her teacher said that one little girl was crying and Avery went up to her and patted her shoulder and told her "it's okay, I miss my daddy too!" 12/07/10
