July 4th is always a busy one! We started it off by going to the Riverton parade. It's always crazy and it seems like it is getting more and more like a big commercial, but it is fun to be with our friends and the kids love it! After the parade, we headed up to Idaho to spend the night. We then hit the Malad parade, which the kids love! They get a ton of candy and there isn't as many people to fight over the candy! After spending the afternoon in Idaho, we drove home to a BBQ with the Hoods. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and other yummy food! Around 9 pm, we headed over to the new Riverton Park to watch the fireworks.
I wasn't sure how the girls would do, I hated the fireworks when I was their age, but Hayden thought it was soooo cool! Kids make holidays so fun! We finally got home around midnight! Needless to say, we had some tired girls! They were champions though!
