For Christmas this past year, my parents decided that they would give us a cruise for all the siblings! Seriously! So excited! It was just for the adults. We asked Bruce and Jan if they would take our kids. A week is a long time with three munchkins!! They happily agreed and took them! They are life savers!
We met at my parents' house on Saturday, January 31 around 1:00. We planned on driving to Vegas that first night and then driving the rest of the way Sunday morning. Ben and Beckee drove with my mom and dad. Aub and Shey rode with Jake and I, and Sam and Ang rode with Jaymie and Mark.
We dropped in at the hotel to carry in our luggage and then had dinner together at Café Rio. We stopped at Target because what else do you do late at night when you're not ready for bed? The next morning we got up bright and early and headed to Long Beach! I started a library book, Orphan Train. I usually just read when I'm on vacation so it was nice! We made it to the port and stood in line for a long time! It was ok, though because the weather was nice and the company was awesome. :) We were so excited to get on that ship! We could hardly wait!
