Moments like this make being a mom worth it.

At Discovery Gateway, Avery thinks the water is pretty cool. She spends most of her time in the water and/or in the cars.

"It's double coupon day at the Market"....sweet! I'm there!!!

Avery-18 months
Avery LOVES to talk on the phone!
She also LOVES to put on other people's shoes

My cute grandma and us at the acquarium

Last night we had another rough night. I was so exhausted that I didn't feel like getting up and down, so instead of fighting it, I took Avery downstairs and we slept in the guest bedroom. Avery cracks me up in the middle of the night and I try really hard not to laugh, but most of the time we end up giggling together. Anyway, as we laid there, I was holding her in my arms, she wrapped her arm around my neck. I told her I needed a smooch and she willingly gave one up. But then all of the sudden she didn't want to stop!! I don't know if she just needed our lips to touch for a few moments or what, but I was dying inside!!! She has had a runny nose and cough, so it was kind of a gooy smooch...but whatever, I'll take them anytime from my little peanut!!
We also had her 18 month appointment at the doctor. She is in the 39% weight, 33% height, and 47% head circ. Everyone thinks she is so chubby, but she still only weighs 23 pounds! She hasn't gained much in the last six months, but she has gotten taller. She is developing very well, and I may be biased, but she is very smart. They have me answer a survey on their development and quit after answering 3 no's, but I got to the very end with only answering no to 3!! She's so SMRT! Ü
We have also gone to the Discovery Gateway, the zoo, and the acquarium this winterness season. We have had lots of playing which has been great. I love to spend time with her. She is such a delight.
Here are some pics to catch you up in our lives!!
...and P.S. I survived my first RS teaching on Sunday. ....I cried....but what's new. I think it went okay, I'm glad the first one is over. I felt like throwing up while I was up there. To make matters worse it was Ward Conference, so I had the Stake leaders there as well. I really really really hate teaching. I feel like there are better teachers out there than me, but I was given this oppurtinity to grow...so that's what I'll do. Hopefully I will learn along the way.
