A weekend of Family Reunions!

Rylee and Avery enjoying being up in Idaho for Labor Day weekend.

For Labor day, the Anderson's had a reunion down in Beaver. Since Jake's family has a reunion the same weekend, we split up. I took Hayden with me and Jake took the other girls. I love being with my family. We rode horses, roasted s'mores, had a dog show, played games and talked and laughed. I have some pretty fun cousins and I love being with them. There are lots of trials going on in my family and it's great that we could spend some time together since it doesn't happen very often anymore.

I didn't want to sleep in a tent by myself with Hayden, so Jaymie and I slept in Beaver at a hotel with the babies. It was nice to be able to have a shower and for the babies to be able to have a good night sleep.

My uncle Craig is so good to bring his horses. This is my most favorite thing. Hayden loved it too!

Hayden and her licorice! She sat like this for a good twenty minutes! She cracks me up!

Avery's First Day of School at Summit Academy

This girl is a big first grader!! We switched from Midas Creek to Summit Academy. I have always wanted Avery on a traditional schedule. She does better when she has a normal routine. I do better when she has a normal routine. I'm also really excited that she is in the German Immersion program. I'm excited about the uniforms. She doesn't seem to care either way. She is a pretty go-with-the-flow kind of girl. I love 6! It is seriously the best age! She is so fun and is getting so big.

Island Park

My family was going to go up to Island Park. Jake had to work, so Jaymie drove up with me and the kids. Oh boy...it was C...R....A....Z...Y!! It was the longest day of our lives...and yet is was seriously so funny! The kids wanted to stop at Bear World, so of course we said ok. We get in there and a tourist group of Asians were there. Jaymie started busting up laughing and I had no idea what she was laughing at until I saw all these people taking "our" picture instead of the animals' pictures. They even patted Rylee on the head. They were taking pictures of our kids and pointing and talking to each other. We were dying. After we went through the petting zoo...which Avery despised (I was shocked, but she hated it) we went over and let the kids ride the little carnival rides they had. We were laughing so hard we were crying! We were able to ride with our babies on them. i don't know if we were laughing so hard because it was so retarded or if we were so tired of driving we were delirious! I'm sure there was a little bit of both!

There were only 3 or 4 men manning the 5 or 6 rides, so we had to wait until they walked across to run the ride. We honestly stayed at Bear World for two hours!

Ha ha!! This picture cracks me up!! Jaymie's head is cut off, Rylee is in seventh heaven and Avery is about to bawl cause we aren't leaving fast enough!!!

Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

This ride went up and down and the girls were giggling so hard! I love when they laugh!

Riding the roller coaster!

Avery got this lego set from uncle Josh and wanted to show him it completed!

My dad so desperately wanted us to come "watch him fish"...ya, I have no idea why?! ...

...so here we are "watching" Mark fish!! I'm sure the fish could hear us as well as feel the rocks that were being thrown in the river...needless to say, we didn't catch anything!!

....then we headed to West Yellowstone to do a little shopping

Rylee was jumping up and down, she was so excited!

These two loved their new horses!
