Avery's Post Birthday

Avery's birthday falls on a Saturday this year and we will be out of town in Island Park. We decided that it would be fun if grandma and grandpa Hawkins came down to celebrate with Avery. I'm not sure what I was thinking, because going to dinner with two screamers always makes for an interesting night. Avery was unfortunately tired and Rylee is all over the place!! We went to Applebee's and I told them it was her birthday. They came to sing to her and let's just say, she hid under the table. The crew was wondering who they were singing too when they didn't see anyone in the chair! It was pretty funny!!

Random Summer Pictures

Somebody was obviously playing with my phone and camera!!

Rylee ate spaghetti for dinner...hence the sink bath!

Rylee woke up at 5:30...kind of a cute face to wake up to!

Waiting for Uncle Josh to come visit from Ohio. The anticipation was killing them! They were so excited!

The 4th of July

My Sleeping Sicky

My cute family
The night before July 4th, our neighborhood had a little get together to do fireworks. Unfortunately, Rylee came down with what Avery had and couldn't keep anything down. She is so cute when she is sick. All she wants to do is sit on your lap! We thought, as long as we didn't give her anything, she would just sit on our lap and we wouldn't spread our germs. Well, the neighbors had brought popsicles and she was starving. We gave them to her.....yep...she threw up. I took her jammies off, we finished the fireworks and went home. Love having sicks kids.
The next morning, (we figured Avery only had it for 24 hours, maybe we would get lucky with Ry) we headed up to Malad to see their parade. The kids loved it. After Rylee understood what was going on, she started to get in it too. It was nice not to be in a huge crowd and the kids made out like bandits with candy!
Avery and Claire (cousin)
I love this picture of Jake, he doesn't smile for real in most pictures and I think he is stinkin cute!

Waving to the floats to get candy!
Just a little rock climbing, waiting for the parade to start

Jake thought this tractor was pretty cool
After the parade, Rylee was napping and it was quiet. Jake has a hard time relaxing, not even five minutes before this picture, he told me that he was a "ball of energy"....uh huh. Totally believe it!!

We had hamburgers and then left to go home. We stopped in Sandy to see their parade and then stayed to watch fireworks with my family. We were all exhausted by the end of the day! Jake had even got up at 5 to run 11 miles. Today we are definitely in need of recovery!

Happy Fourth of July!
