Big Girl Bed

My cute Rylee tried to climb out of her crib this morning, and she is fearless. I'm sure she would have fallen on her head if I hadn't changed her crib to a bed. She is such a stinker, she won't smile or look at me while I take her picture! She was totally excited. The only thing that I was going to do different than what we did with Avery....was that I put a lock on the outside of her room. I don't like the fact that she could be wandering around the house in the middle of the night and I not know about it. And she would wake up every two hours and come out. I was not going to have that. So, now we lock her and she actually does much better. She fights it for maybe 30 seconds and then goes and gets in her bed.

Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day, we made heart pancakes. I made ghost pancakes at Halloween, but they didn't go over well. The hearts were much better :).
The girls woke up to find a little card and treat from their dad. They were so excited!
We had gymnastics today and these two were being so goofy. I love that they love each other.
The girls were going to be going up to Bruce and Jan's today. Jake had told me that his mom's sewing machine was coming in the mail and I needed to make sure I was home to sign for it. While waiting for Avery at Gymnastics, my neighbor had texted me to tell me that I had something come and she had signed for it. This is what we came home to!! Red Roses!! They were beautiful! There were 14 roses, 12 for me and one for each of the girls! I love that Jake thinks of the girls that way. I know it makes them feel special. They thought it was so cool to get a flower from their dad.
Happy Valentine's Day!!

Some more random thoughts and pictures

A few girls in my ward were having a craft night over at the church. Claire, Avery's friend was there. I went to check on them in the nursery and found this! They were playing school and these were all of their students! It was such a mess but it was so cute! I love it when my girls pretend and get creative. I think they had as much fun as we did!!

Rylee has to have whatever you are having. Jake was having some chips and salsa and of course she wanted some too!

On February 5, we found out baby #3 is on it's way!! It's crazy because I did not think I was pregnant. In fact, I had taken a pregnancy test back in January when I was supposed to have my period and it was a negative. I didn't have much symptoms, other than the normal ones when you are about to start, so I really didn't think I was. I had gotten my IUD out in the beginning of December and it took quite a while to get Avery and it took six months to get Ry. So to think that it only took ONE month to get Ry, was unimaginable. We also had committed to running Ragnar in June and agreed to go on Trek with the Stake in July. I'll be honest....I wasn't too sad about dropping Ragnar, but I was really sad about Trek. I really wanted to go. Really bad. Jake's boss has recently resigned and July was the worst possible month for him to miss work, so it actually is okay that we can't go. Maybe next time. We are excited to add another little one to our family! Can't wait to find out what it is!!
