Halloween

Halloween was quite fun this year. The weather was absolutely beautiful! I honestly don't remember it ever being not freezing and no snow. I wouldn't mind trick or treating if it were like this every year! We went around our neighborhood and it was so fun to see everyone in their costumes. In the seven years we have been here, this was our first year going around our neighborhood. I LOVED it!! It was so fun to watch Avery literally RUN from house to house. I wasn't sure if she would get the whole thing, boy was I wrong!! Bruce and Jan came down to see the kids and then after trick or treating we headed to my mom's and then up to my grandma's. Holidays are crazy but so fun to enjoy with kids! Avery loves dressing up and loved getting candy.

....And yes, I let her eat all her candy in two days!! GET IT OUTTA HERE!! (okay, she doesn't eat the chocolate, so it was only half a pumpkin!)

Fourth time dressing up!! Man, October was busy! (the third time, was at dance!!)

Avery got a new shirt, yes, it has pink sleeves and no, she wouldn't take it off. Pick your fights right?

A duck, A princess, A candy corn witch, A ghost, Boba Fett,Squirt the Turtle, and A dog/horse!! Haylee had her shots today, so she was a little under the weather.

Family Pumpkin Carving

Normally, we do a scary dinner, but this year the Becker's weren't able to come, so we opted out on the scary food and just did yummy food! I tried to do a Brain jello...lets just say it looked like I had just scraped it off the pavement...didn't work so well!! Maybe next year.

Avery's Preschool Field Trip

For Avery's preschool, cute Ms. Heather took everyone over to the pumpkin patch and let them climb over all the tractors, go through a corn maze, had a story, and even got to pick out a pumpkin. It was so fun to see all of her little class have such a fun time. Avery was quite ornery, but she got over it!!

PMS??...maybe

Today is one of those days...I need a vacation. I have been sick all week and still don't feel all that great. Now Avery and Rylee are starting to get runny noses, and Avery's whining and crying is pushing my limits. I feel like I've almost reached the end of my rope and I might scream...oh ya, I did. I did this morning at Avery. I screamed. She has been hitting me and I hate that. So I screamed at her. I felt bad. She started to cry, the cry where she is heartbroken. I had Rylee in the tub and she was throwing a tantrum, slamming the door, hitting me...and I lost it. I hate that. And it doesn't help that my house needs to be cleaned. I think I am PMSing...or something. I need a vacation, maybe where no one is climbing on me, screaming at me, or needing something every 3, no 2 seconds. I don't want to be climbed on....pretty much touched. How horrible is that. Avery wants me to hold her all the time and sometimes I just can't. I'm tired. I'm exhausted. I'm having a PMS moment for sure. Good thing Ry is such a good baby. She just smiles and tries to scoot around.

...It's just been one of those days.

We are in the middle of potty training, Avery had had an accident on the downstairs couch and I told her to run up and finish going potty. When I came upstairs, apparently she had to go too bad because the rug was soaked. As she is sitting there with those big blue eyes, she proceeds to tell me "It's otay mom, you tan tlean it up, it's otay." I told her that it's not okay and she argued with me back and forth! It's not a big deal that she had an accident, but I don't WANT to clean it up!! 03/4/11

I'm sitting in the computer room and Avery is eating some cereal. She yells to me that "Fresh Beat" is over and I yell back that "Go, Diego Go" will be on...she yells back "Otay!!" Obviously, she watches too much TV! 1/17/11

We were driving up to my mom's in the far left lane, driving through the river bottoms where it kind of curves, it was dark so she could see the on coming traffic, when I hear "cars are coming mom, beep!" Apparently, she thought we were going to hit the other cars!! 01/07/11
