Go UTES!

Jake has season tickets with his friends from high school and they all went out of town for the holiday, so this little munchkin and I got to tag along!...and of course they won! She was so cute. She always complains that things are too loud, so Jake went and got her a pair of ear plugs. She was so self conscience about them that she wanted her hair left down around her ears. Funny little kid! She was a pretty good little fan!

Rylee stayed home with Jan and Hayden...but of course we couldn't not deck her out!

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving this year, we went to my mom's to eat. Because Jake's parents live in Malad, we normally will have Thanksgiving at my parents house and then spend the weekend up in Malad and cut down our Christmas tree. This year we went up to Idaho before Thanksgiving. I have to admit, having it all done and having Friday and Saturday to ourselves was kind of nice. Jake didn't act like he was in a hurry to get some where and we could all relax a little bit. It was a very enjoyable weekend.

Hayden's First Thanksgiving

My mom was pretty cute and had the kids make oreo turkeys!

Do you think we could get all three of the kids to get a picture?! Ya right!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Cutting Down Our Christmas Tree

You just never know what you will find in the mountains!!

Our tree!

This year was no different than the last few years, only we went up before Thanksgiving and it made everything else feel not so rushed. It was a beautiful day. We couldn't have asked for better. Jake, the girls, Josh, Bruce and I all trucked up the mountain. Jan stayed home with Hayden. I was impressed with how well the girls did! This has become a really fun tradition for our little family! ...it helps too that my girls love to be with their uncle Josh!

Last year we bought a fake, pre-lit tree because we went home empty handed. Knowing that we had backup took the pressure off finding one! They are definitely Charlie Brown kind of trees but hopefully my kids enjoy it and it will become a fun thing for them to look forward to.
