Potty Training....maybe?!

Apparently it is time to start potty training this little bug! She had gotten out of the tub and was running around naked. I saw her start to go potty and threw her on the seat. She thought she was soooo cool! She went a little bit, whether she knew it or not. Now she is curious about it and asks to be put on. I'm not so sure that I'M ready! She is still a baby!! I guess it's not really up to me!

Last Days of Summer

 My girls LOVE playing in the water. Avery asks me everyday if we can go to the park and play in the water. She is definitely my little fish. It's nearing the end of the summer and I'm not sure what we are going to do, if we can't play in the hose. I just don't think the tub is going to suffice!!

These two were totally having a conversation that made absolutely no sense. But they were both responding as if they understood each other. It was so dang cute! Funny little girls.

 We then headed out to Lehi to watch my grandpa fly his plane that he has been building for quite sometime. It was so fun to watch him fly it. He was like a little kid!

Dad's souvenir gifts from New York

Jake had to take a week and head to New York for work. We sure do miss him when he is gone. He brought sweatshirts home to the girls. I can't get enough of these two! Sure do love them!!

First Day of Preschool

Avery so excited for preschool! We actually missed the first day of preschool because we were in Island Park. Rylee thinks she is so big and wants to go with Avery! 

Avery got a Hello Kitty backpack for her birthday and she was stoked to be able to wear it!

This year, she is going to Miss Heather's again and goes Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-noon! I love it! I kind of wished it was three days a week :) 

Camping with Friends

This summer has been so busy with so many fun things. This weekend, we went up to Little Cottonwood canyon with a bunch of neighbor friends. It was seriously so much fun. This was the second time we had been camping in our tent or investment, as Jake calls it! and it seemed to hold up pretty well!!

We wanted to hike up to Cecret Lake, but they had the Tour of Utah and with all the little kids, we didn't think we could make it before they closed the road down. So we hiked up the mountain a little bit and had a picnic. It was beautiful! I love to camp and hike and be in the mountains. The kids were in heaven. They were climbing all over the rocks and playing in the dirt.

We had breakfast and dinner with everyone and then on our own for everything else. It was so nice to get out and hang out with friends. The kids were absolutely filthy and it was so fun to watch all the kids have such a great time together. The older girls were great sports having Avery shadow them everywhere.

It rained the first night and we all huddled under the canopies. You just can't go camping without rain! It made it all that much more fun! I love Kristin's face!!!
