The weekend after Thanksgiving, we head up to Idaho and have made the tradition for the past couple of years, to cut down our own Christmas tree. This winter has felt more like spring and we haven't had any snow, except for what you see in the shade. We left Rylee and grandma back at the house while, Jake, Bruce, Avery and I all went hunting up the mountain for the perfect tree. The tree usually ends up looking Charlie Brownish, but it's the tradition and the fun of finding one. ...and you can't beat the price of $6 bucks!

| Avery cracks me up, the other night she was in drawing on her easel. She came out to tell us she had drawn herself, eyelashes and all. She was so proud. It was pretty cute. |
