We took the girls to the dam and went on the tour. It's so funny what you remember. I remember going on this tour as a kid, and I totally remember the tile floor. It's checkered. It's the same as it was then! Why do I remember that?! I don't know that the kids were totally impressed with it, but I want them to be exposed to educational things too. I remember doing this stuff as a kid! You will have fun, dang it!! It's impressive to me that it takes 100 years for the cement in the dam to cure...and we are only in year 50!! I'm not an engineer, but I love learning about this kind of stuff. They men that built this, their only safety net, was a rope they were tied to. A. SINGLE. ROPE.
