Big Mountain

The kids went on a 2 mile fun run this morning! They piled 13 kids and 6 adults in the suburban!!

Hayden thought instead of painting her rocks, she would give herself a mani!

Trying to get a decent family photo is like pulling teeth!

What a fun trip! For the last couple of years, we have made it a tradition to go with our friends the Wards, the Smith's, the Brown's and the Anderson's to Big Mountain campground in Nephi. It is so fun! We do crafts, have great food, play games, swam. and this year we went to the rodeo! Which was so fun! They had "bull jumpers"..the bulls would charge them and then they would jump over them! Amazing! As we were watching the bucking broncos, Avery kept asking "why would you do that?! That is so dumb! why would you want to get bucked off?!!" We didn't leave the rodeo until after 11 pm and the kids were exhausted! Hayden at one point asked me if she could take a nap in her bed! We headed home after the rodeo so Jake could go into work the next day.

Church is a three-ring circus most Sundays, this Sunday in particular, Rylee was in and out of the bench and all over the place. Avery asked her if she wanted to go to class (meaning nursery) before Sacrament had ended. Rylee B-lined it to the exit and practically ran to the nursery room! 9/15/12

We are in the middle of potty training, Avery had had an accident on the downstairs couch and I told her to run up and finish going potty. When I came upstairs, apparently she had to go too bad because the rug was soaked. As she is sitting there with those big blue eyes, she proceeds to tell me "It's otay mom, you tan tlean it up, it's otay." I told her that it's not okay and she argued with me back and forth! It's not a big deal that she had an accident, but I don't WANT to clean it up!! 03/4/11

I'm sitting in the computer room and Avery is eating some cereal. She yells to me that "Fresh Beat" is over and I yell back that "Go, Diego Go" will be on...she yells back "Otay!!" Obviously, she watches too much TV! 1/17/11

We were driving up to my mom's in the far left lane, driving through the river bottoms where it kind of curves, it was dark so she could see the on coming traffic, when I hear "cars are coming mom, beep!" Apparently, she thought we were going to hit the other cars!! 01/07/11

Avery went to nursery, and she has been having a hard time liking it, but the last two weeks she has actually gone without crying. Apparently, her teacher said that one little girl was crying and Avery went up to her and patted her shoulder and told her "it's okay, I miss my daddy too!" 12/07/10
