Things they say...

"My heart is beeping fast!" -Avery 12/5/13

I think we have listened to the Frozen soundtrack a thousand times...we have the entire cd memorized.."Let it Go" came on and Rylee yells "MY FAVORITE PART!" 1/29/14

Avery asked Koy (her cute friend) "pretend my boyfriend comes over..." What ?!! I'm in trouble! 2/19/14

I told Rylee she needed to get in the bath before she ate her candy. She didn't get in and I told her I shouldn't let her eat the candy because she didn't get in...her reply..."Yes I did!..Last year!" 3/9/14

Rylee is screaming "Let me in!" at the front door...after she closed the front door herself! These girls are making me crazy! Avery threw a tantrum on the way back from the bus because I made her carry her coat and backpack...I was already carrying her boots. ...So, I bring Rylee in and lock the door so she can't get out...she then goes to the garage...closes the door and begins yelling and screaming "LET ME IN!!!" ...I can't win! 3/19/14

Rylee was having a play date and was showing her friends where the garbage was...she said "come on boys"...I guess I didn't realize she knew the difference between boys and girls! 3/21/14

Rylee was "reading" me a book and says "get off my foot dumb boy"!!! There was something on the foot of the picture!! It was funny! 3/25/14

I was telling Rylee we needed to do her messy hair...as she brushes it out of her face she says "it's all clean!" 3/27/14

Rylee was talking to Avery in the bathroom and I could over hear their conversation...Rylee says to Avery "LOOK AT MY BUM!" "What?" "There's something in it" "like what?" "I don't know"

Rylee yells from sitting on the potty "HEY GUYS! It's my birthday!" Jake's parents, as well as Josh were all there. 4/4/14

I took Rylee and Hayden to Cafe Rio for dinner. I told Rylee "thanks for being my cute date!" She told me she wasn't a date and I kept telling her she WAS my cute date...She explained "I'm Rylee though"!! Yes, Rylee, yes you are!! 4/26/14

Church is a three-ring circus most Sundays, this Sunday in particular, Rylee was in and out of the bench and all over the place. Avery asked her if she wanted to go to class (meaning nursery) before Sacrament had ended. Rylee B-lined it to the exit and practically ran to the nursery room! 9/15/12

We were watching America's Got Talent the other night and Avery tells me that she wants to go up on that stage, but that I would need to take her since she didn't know where it was. I asked her if she was going to sing or dance. She, of course, said dance! 7/3/12

We are in the middle of potty training, Avery had had an accident on the downstairs couch and I told her to run up and finish going potty. When I came upstairs, apparently she had to go too bad because the rug was soaked. As she is sitting there with those big blue eyes, she proceeds to tell me "It's otay mom, you tan tlean it up, it's otay." I told her that it's not okay and she argued with me back and forth! It's not a big deal that she had an accident, but I don't WANT to clean it up!! 03/4/11

I'm sitting in the computer room and Avery is eating some cereal. She yells to me that "Fresh Beat" is over and I yell back that "Go, Diego Go" will be on...she yells back "Otay!!" Obviously, she watches too much TV! 1/17/11

We were driving up to my mom's in the far left lane, driving through the river bottoms where it kind of curves, it was dark so she could see the on coming traffic, when I hear "cars are coming mom, beep!" Apparently, she thought we were going to hit the other cars!! 01/07/11

I delivered dinner to a family and came out crying, Avery asked "you need a tissue mom?". 12/22/10

Avery went to nursery, and she has been having a hard time liking it, but the last two weeks she has actually gone without crying. Apparently, her teacher said that one little girl was crying and Avery went up to her and patted her shoulder and told her "it's okay, I miss my daddy too!" 12/07/10

I was putting Avery to bed, and as I was telling her good night, she asked me "mommy tired?" I answered, "yes". She rolled over and said "Avery tired". And that was that! 11/03/10

At church we were taking the sacrament, after she had gotten the water by herself, she leans over to me and says "that was fun, mom"!! 10-24-10
